Luzern is a stellar skincare brand that has been on my radar for a long time. I always knew the products would be luxe and ultra-effective, but after having tested some from the NUIT range, I can report that I’m in love with Luzern’s clean skincare products.

Swiss Alpine water-processed: Rich in Alpine minerals, pure Swiss Alpine water is used in Luzern’s products to hydrate and soothe skin. The water comes from the heart of the Valais Alps, in magnificent surroundings of untouched snowy mountains and glaciers that sit at an altitude of more than 4,000 metres. During its journey, the water is naturally filtered and enriched with minerals and trace elements as it seeps slowly through layers of rock and stone hundreds of metres deep. Rich in vital minerals and untouched by humans, the pure water is collected and used in the low-temperature extraction process of the Bio-Suisse organic extracts. The final result is a high-potency cocktail of natural, bioactive nutrients in a base of Swiss Alpine water.
No toxic preservatives: Luzern carefully calibrates the preservative system in each formula using a variety of non-toxic ingredients that provide protection against contamination. They contain none of the biocides and fungicides used in most skincare products. All preservative ingredients are approved by ECOCERT, the international organic inspection and certification body, NATRUE and the Soil Association, and adhere to COSMOS standards.

As much as I adore Retinol, and have used it with great results on my face, I have not had any success with my neck, probably because I have used too high a concentration of retinol that caused the thin skin on the neck to become worse. It lives up to all the claims and more, and I have seen wonderful results. It is everything I could possibly wish for in terms of night-time skin renewal, all wrapped up in a rich, velvety texture that works beautifully on the neck and chest area.
Just a tiny dollop feels significant enough to hydrate and repair the skin. I can visibly tell the difference in my neck wrinkles: lines and wrinkles are softened. Skin looks firmer, nourished and healthier.
