Culinary
Phum Baitang offers guests the choice of two bars and two restaurants, all designed in an authentic style and delivering classic Cambodian hospitality.
Phum Baitang’s two restaurants – Bay Phsar and Hang Bay – serve delicious meals using local produce, fresh organic herbs and vegetables from the resort’s own gardens.

Bay Phsar: With views overlooking the rice paddies and surrounding gardens, Bay Phsar restaurant is spectacularly set along the Instagram-worthy main pool. It delivers a delightfully vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere, exceptional setting, and amazing food.
For dinner, Bay Phsar invites guest to a culinary exploration of Cambodian cuisine and its fresh flavours, created by using local ingredients with flair and finesse. This is a celebration of street food: diners can choose a selection of fresh seafood, home-grown herbs and spices for the chef to whip up to your taste. At lunchtime, poolside Bay Phsar serves zingy salads, moreish spring rolls and pizzas straight from the garden oven. There are also enticing fish options, freshly caught in the nearby Tonlé Sap Lake. Each morning, Bay Phsar restaurant is the scene of an excellent breakfast.

Hang Bay: Housed in a wooden villa on stilts, diners at Hang Bay restaurant can savour a fantastic fusion of local dishes and international cuisine, from the freshest seafood to the finest steaks. Guests can dine either in an elegant dining room or on a stylish porch while enjoying Phum Baitang’s beautiful sunsets and starlit nights.
The rice that is served at both restaurants comes from the surrounding paddies.
The wine list includes hotel owner Roger Zannier’s private vintages from his estates in the South of France and Portugal’s Douro Valley.

Private dining experience: For something extra special, the private dining experience offers a bespoke menu and comes with your very own waiter for the evening. Nestled peacefully within terraced paddy fields or within the comfort and convenience of your private villa, the exquisite culinary flavours, attentive service and beautiful surroundings create unforgettable memories. Alternatively, guests can shop their own ingredients on-site and get a Khmer meal cooked for them in their villa – the rice will come from the resort’s own paddies.
Farming and gardening: The luxury resort hotel in Siem Reap grows a wide variety of the hotel’s own vegetables and herbs in their organic gardens, and tropical fruits plants are being planted (mango, banana, coconut and papaya trees).
Wherever possible and available, Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang sources food produce from local organic farms, and the hotel partners with local Siem Reap and Cambodian companies for the supply of honey, eggs, coffee, chocolate, various beers, rum, and fresh, natural juices.
The boutique hotel in Siem Reap produces all its own bakery items in-house using only natural ingredients. The hotel also has a wood-fired oven, which allows serving delicious pizzas.
Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang makes their own jams and conserves from locally grown fruits and vegetables. Moreover, most dairy products, such as all yoghurts, are made in-house. All juices and smoothies available throughout the day are made every morning by the team.
Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang’s own working rice farm employs local villagers, who are part of the resort staff. They are in charge of tendering the paddies and harvesting the crop. Rice is traditionally cultivated all year long on the land, with the help of water buffaloes. Guests readily get in contact with staff and gardeners to find out more about rice production.

Bars
There are two bars, one by the pool and the other in the original 100-year-old farmhouse.
The Sunset Lounge: Paying homage to Cambodia’s colonial history, The Sunset Lounge is set in an authentic, 100-year old farmhouse at the heart of the rice paddies. Lovingly restored and repurposed as the hotel’s Sunset Lounge, it is easily one of the most atmospheric venues in the Siem Reap area, with rattan wing chairs and oriental carpets evoking the glamorous turn-of-the-century era when French explorers settled here. At the lounge, guests can delight in the pleasure of sipping a wide variety of cocktails (from the traditional to the innovative), a selection of fine wines, and vintage liqueurs.

Head here in the early evenings, as the terrace is decked out with comfortably plush chairs meticulously positioned for the ideal sunset viewing experience. Marvel at the sky turning from blue to crimson while watching the sun slowly sets over lush paddy fields.
Pool Bar: Adjacent to the hotel’s 50-metre outdoor infinity pool, the Pool Bar offers a stunning open-air setting with magnificent views of the surrounding rice paddies and gardens. Guests can enjoy a light meal or refreshing home-made juices while soaking up the Cambodian sun.
Spa
With an ambience of indulgent serenity, the Spa Temple is gloriously relaxing and invites guests to experience pampering and rejuvenation at its best. Both the spa’s setting and the treatment menu are seriously impressive.
The staggeringly beautiful lobby building is made of monolithic stone blocks carved by skilled stonemasons. It is modelled after a temple that takes its visual cues from the exquisite carvings and elegant columns of Angkor Wat. The variety of plants and materials, peaceful areas and candlelights make the spa complex a harmonious scenery for relaxation and revitalisation.

Seven Zen-like treatment rooms – two are for couples – are housed in wooden pavilions amid luxuriant tropical foliage.
The Spa Temple is the ultimate sanctuary designed to treat the mind, body and soul. Treatments use organic, indigenous ingredients such as ginger, mango and raw honey, sourced from local suppliers based in Siem Reap. The spa treatments are based on traditional Khmer rituals or massage techniques such as Tibetan, Japanese, Swedish or Ayurvedic and are performed by highly-skilled therapists. Treatments include moringa oil body polishes, coconut milk hair treatments and warm herbal compress massages,
A relaxation area, sauna and steam room, yoga pavilion, and a well-equipped fitness room complete the resort’s spa facilities. A stunning 50-meter infinity pool invites for a swim and sunbathing. The perfect end to a few lengths can be found at the pool bar that is open to guests for a light lunch or simply a home-made fruit juice, overlooking the breathtaking views.
