Providing a lavish 538m² of sumptuous indulgence, the property boasts a magical yet compelling combination of all the places the owner, an avid traveller, has visited and loved – be it favourite cafes, retail shops, bars, co-working spaces or workshops from around the globe. It also takes inspiration from the scenes from seven legendary films, vacation houses and palaces throughout the world.
The ‘seven seasons’ is a theme that is graciously carried throughout the entire home. Decorated with supreme taste and extraordinary panache, it is imbued with an ambience of dazzling elegance and extravagant luxury. As soon as guests enter this residence, they will be amazed at the sumptuousness that is displayed in each and every detail.
1st Season “A warm welcome”: Arriving at the entrance foyer via a roofed walkway, guests will be greeted by a unique art installation – a sculptural gold needle. It makes a bold statement that this is the house of Thailand’s number one expert in Botox and filler injections.
2nd Season”Autumn”: The sprawling great room – complete with a lounging area, a dining room and a kitchen – is the property’s main living space. It offers a remarkable setting for fine entertaining and maximum enjoyment. Setting the stage is the pink-themed living space. A Mason’s Ironstone Tokyo Vase in Mandalay Red from the 1920s adds a sense of exquisiteness and class. A real statement piece, the ancient vase has masterly been customised into a pair of truly one-of-a-kind lamps.
3rd Season”Summer”: The summer pavilion, offering a serene connection to the swimming pool, is inspired by a summer palace. This is where the owner can spend time relaxing, enjoying a cup of tea, or admiring the view of the garden or the moon at night. Ancient tea sets by Mikimoto and Givenchy further embellish this spectacular area.
4th Season”Sa-Buy” (in English = cosy): This living area is designed to use one of the colours the owner adores – vibrant blues are complemented by gold accents. Inspired by the owner’s treasures, the space houses a hidden chamber that keeps all the owner’s collection of books, with the Wedgwood’s antique ceramic collection and cassettes, as a part of the decor.
5th Season”Winter”: The second floor is home to the owner’s bedroom, office and bathroom. Inspired by the historic Japanese houses in Shirakawa-go, the room is supremely spacious and is adorned with custom-designed details such as the carpet and the headboard.
6th Season”Chill”: A small party zone on the second floor of the house offers the ultimate in relaxation and fun. The stairway leading up to this space is designed into a tunnel embellished with crystals, filling the area with a sparkling glow. A customised chandelier in the shape of a swarm of butterflies is commanding in its presence and beautiful by design.
7th Season”Spring”: The bedroom designed for Akhin (a Thai word for the sun), the owner’s son, is distinctive with its bright blue colour and customised ceiling with cloud-shaped neon lighting that creates a dreamy ambience.
Uncompromisingly glamorous, lavishly decadent and staggeringly spacious, this private residence in Bangkok is a strikingly impressive creation of what luxury living should be like.
