Francesc Mitjans

Francesc Mitjans was an architect of great importance in post-war architecture in Spain.
Born in Barcelona in 1909, he had a long and brilliant professional career for which he won numerous awards. In addition to the Camp Nou, it leaves other emblematic buildings such as the Reial Club Nàutic in Barcelona and the building of the Banc Atlàntic (now Banc Sabadell)

Most of his professional commissions came from Barcelona’s bourgeoisie, allowing Mitjans to combine intelligent sensibility and an avant-garde architectural approach that would appeal to his discerning clients.
